Today marks the anniversary of the Battle of Basque Roads which began on the night of the 11th of April 1809 and lasted for three days. For I'm not an English speaker I usually read the translation and only sometimes when I want to know the original description check the canon by C.S.Forester. I could get the literal meaning of the writing with dictionaries but it's always difficult to catch the hidden meanings, what the author has indicated, ... and the nuance.
